The Optical Radiation Properties Database (OPdb) was funded by the DTI’s National Measurement Service (NMS) to serve as a live and interactive source of information on the key tools used for optical radiation measurement (ORM) and the data on the interaction of electromagnetic radiation (EMR) with materials. The database will grow over time, and suggestions are invited for items (topics) that are not currently covered.

DATABASE CURRENT CATEGORY HEADERS

NB: the term OPTICAL RADIATION is taken to mean UV (ultraviolet) to IR (infrared)
ie; a wavelength range ~250 nm to ~3,000 nm.

Anyone requiring information is invited to search the database and download or print a report, and a datafile.
You do not have to register to view the database or download data. Please go to the required CATEGORY below.
Note MATERIALS:Optical Radiation Interactions will be released in a later version of the database.
